Sandy Perez is a world renown talented Afro-Cuban percussionist and instructor from Matanzas, Cuba. He is the director of the band, Sandy Perez y Su Lade. Sandy teaches and performs both locally and nationally and now resides in the Bay Area.

In addition, to being a performer, director, and instructor, Sandy Perez is often sought out because of his extensive knowledge of Afro-Cuban folkloric history. As an open-minded and accomplished musician, Sandy Perez has the ability to successfully interweave his unique percussion playing abilities with various musical genres including: Afro-Cuban Folkloric, Latin Jazz, Salsa, Hip-Hop, Jazz, Timba, Son, Rock, World etc...
